Cars in German Town Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Blood, Law Enforcement State

Police stated they were notified by a man who found a vehicle in Hanau marked with reddish fluid

Around fifty vehicles have been covered with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by law enforcement.

Vehicles, walls and postal boxes were vandalized, sometimes with swastikas, they reported in a statement.

Law enforcement report they were notified late on Wednesday night, when a individual noticed that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been marked with a red-colored fluid.

The liquid had been drawn in the form of a banned symbol, they added.

Police then discovered many other smeared vehicles and house walls in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under laws banning the public display of symbols from the Nazi era.

Police report initial examinations show the substance was probably human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no clue as to its origin; officials are not yet aware of any harm in connection with the incident," they commented.

City officials stated they were attempting "to unravel the case" and have requested to the residents for tips.

An important representative said the vandalism made him speechless and had to be solved rapidly.

"This event affects the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the right-wing terrorist attack five years ago," he wrote on a platform, recalling the murder of nine victims by a shooter aiming at individuals of immigrant origin in February 2020.
